Goodbye to "summer" in San Francisco

Summer in San Francisco had not been kind to me up until my departure date for Chile, as the sunshine was limited and daytime high temperatures sometimes never exceeded 55 F. This was more annoying than usual considering the number of weekdays I had off work in preparation for the trip. Still, I knew I would miss the city while in South America, so I took one last trip downtown to the Ferry Building to have lunch with Mike G. The day: grey and cold.
